Squirrel Girl - Inspired by Michi

Isn't she too cute for words, folks? Sadly, I don't know this precious little cherub nor the squirrel who's made her acquantence. Just did a google image search and this is what I came up with. I figured after my rant about Big O we could all use a little sugary sweet cuteness to pick us up.

  • Some of my favorite pick me ups:

    A hot fragranced bath with opera music and a glass of wine.

    Morning walks to work in San Francisco and New York.

    Playing with snap dragons.

    A nice deep massage (got one scheduled on Saturday YEAH!)

    *I hate the walk of shame so that is why I never (never USED to) spend the night.

    I didn't see "Playing phone tag with my favorite sister Charise"
    on your list of pick-me-ups.

    Don't hate the player...hate the game.

    My own personal favorite pick-me-ups:

    phone calls to my sisters
    unrestricted internet time
    hearing people laugh (especially when I'm the one who made them laugh)
    cooking stuff...like porridge.
    Truffles and coffee in San Francisco
    pedicures
    iTunes for .99 a pop!

    Oh there are so many things to be happy about, aren't there! Come visit me sissy!

  • Some things that make me happy:

    1. Agree w/ Michi on the warm bath, but a guilty pleasure is to mix it up with a shot of Whisky and Billy Holiday or the Blues. (This is lush mode)

    2. Waxing my eyebrows and giving myself a long pedicure and manicure while watching pointless T.V.

    3.Sitting in the backyard watching a thunderstorm.

    4. Mindlessly wandering downtown bookstores and eateries w/ a sissy.

    5. Sitting by the pool and melting into a "smut" magazine such as People, O.K., or US

    6. Getting hair done and having someone massage your head.

    7. Spending way too much time in TJ Maxx, Ross, or D.I.
